Tuesday evening the RNC were called to a report of a hit and run accident in the Goulds.

Officers arrived on the scene and were able to locate the driver.

The driver was given the demand for the roadside screening device but he refused to provide a sample of his breath. As a result, he was charged with refusal and was released to appear in court at a later date.

Police seized the vehicle and his driver’s license was suspended.
