On Tuesday evening the RNC was called to a hotel on Kenmount Road to a report of a disturbance.

When officers arrived on the scene, they located several intoxicated individuals who staff at the hotel had called about.

One of the individuals threatened police. The 26-year-old male was quickly taken into custody and charged with uttering threats toward the officer.

He was transported to the lockup and will appear in court this morning.
