A late-evening collision on a busy St. John’s road caused significant damage to both vehicles, but no serious injuries.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Thorburn Road and Austin Street at about 10:30 p.m. when two SUV’s collided. Paramedics assessed the occupants of both vehicles, however none required transport to hospital. Both vehicles sustained significant damage.

Traffic was slowed in the area until the scene could be cleared.
