Kirk Keeping loses application to keep media out of appeal hearing

Kirk Keeping his lost his application to keep the media out of an appeal hearing today.

Keeping is charged with murdering 28-year-old Chantal John in 2019.

He will make arguments on Thursday about why he believes the court was wrong to deny him public funds for a private lawyer.

Keeping had wanted to prevent media from attending the hearing. But the court has now dismissed that application.
