Suspended driver charged after single vehicle crash in Springdale
A 64-year-old man was charged by Springdale RCMP on Thursday after he was found driving with a suspended licence.
Shortly after 11:15 a.m. on Feb. 26, police responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Little Bay Road in Springdale. When officers arrived, they found the vehicle off the road with minor damages. The driver was not able to provide a valid licence, and police learned that his licence had been suspended.
He was arrested and charged with operation while prohibited. His vehicle was recovered by a tow truck and impounded.
The driver was released from custody and will appear in court in June 2026.
