High winds in the Wreckhouse
Bay St. George District RCMP are warning drivers (especially those in large or commercial vehicles, including RVs and tractor trailers) of high winds in the Wreckhouse area of the Trans-Canada Highway. Wind speeds in this area are reaching 120 km/h.
While the highway is currently open, all motorists are asked to use caution and drive according to the weather conditions. Please consider delaying travel until the high wind advisory ends.
