Clarenville RCMP seeking public’s assistance identifying suspect in theft investigation

Clarenville RCMP is investigating a theft and misuse of a banking card, and asking for assistance identifying a suspect captured by surveillance cameras.

In March 2026, Clarenville RCMP received a report from a resident in the area who discovered multiple unauthorized transactions on their bank statement. The victim also reported that the card associated with the account was no longer in their possession.

Police are releasing surveillance photos of a suspect in this investigation, and are asking anyone with information about the identity of this man to contact Clarenville RCMP as soon as possible at 709-466-3211.
