Bonavista RCMP investigating propane theft, seeking public’s assistance
Bonavista RCMP is investigating after more than a dozen propane tanks were stolen from a Catalina gas station last month, and are asking anyone with information to contact police.
On Feb. 15, police responded to a report of a theft from a gas station on Discovery Trail in Catalina. Two individuals were captured on video surveillance removing 16 propane tanks from the property and loading them into a larger passenger vehicle, like a van or sport utility vehicle (SUV).
The theft occurred sometime between 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14 and 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15.
