

Helping children of newcomers integrate into the community is important to make them feel comfortable in a new country. An initiative of the Canada-Ukraine Foundation is to create “Dolya” summer day camps for Ukrainian children. “Dolya” is the Ukrainian word for fate, and one of those camps was held in Newfoundland and Labrador.
