A former top aviation official and his wife who together swindled more than $80,000 from a local volunteer search and rescue association have pleaded guilty to fraud.

Brian and Marina Bishop entered the plea today in a St. John’s courtroom, where the current head of the association explained the shocking impacts the couple’s actions have had on the group.
