Just before midnight last night the RNC responded to the downtown area of St. John’s regarding a report of a disturbance.

When officers arrived, several people had already detained a 58-year-old male.

The male was arrested and charged with assault, causing a disturbance, mischief, breach of a release order and breach of probation.

He was held to appear in Provincial Court this morning.
