The government has launched an investigation into a leak of legislation before it was tabled in the House of Assembly.

It deals with the Limitations Act. Advocates have been calling for changes to the act so they can sue for historical cases of abuse.

But lawyers say the proposed changes don’t go far enough, and Opposition MHA’s say they aren’t given enough time to review legislation before debate.
