On Friday, Minister of Labrador Affairs Lisa Dempster announced $50,000 in funding for Them Days, a non-profit organization that documents and preserves the history of Labrador.

The funding will be used to assist in operations and special events around the organization’s 50th anniversary.

The organization publishes a quarterly magazine and houses an archive that contains diaries, letters, reports, recordings, photographs, slides, maps and a reference library.
