At 11:30 p.m. Tuesday night, the RNC were called to a report of theft at a business in the center city area of St. John’s.

Security advised police that someone had pulled the fire alarm and then he observed a female leaving the store with unpaid merchandise.

The 45-year-old female was arrested and charged with theft and breach of a release order.
