A three-vehicle collision at a busy east-end intersection Monday afternoon caused significant damage, but resulted in no reported injuries.
Emergency crews responded to the intersection of Stavanger Drive and Aberdeen Avenue shortly after 2:00 p.m.. A sedan and SUV had collided in the intersection, sending the sedan head-on into a vehicle stopped at a red light. The SUV came to rest on a traffic island.
All vehicles involved sustained significant damage. Paramedics with Eastern Health assessed all occupants of the vehicles. None required transport to hospital.
Traffic in the area was slowed for approximately an hour until the scene could be cleared.
