The Department of Justice and Public Safety says they were notified of a death at Her Majesty’s Penitentiary the night of Tuesday, August 22. The department is expressing their sincere condolences to the person’s family and friends as well as staff and inmates at Her Majesty’s Penitentiary during this difficult time.
The department says the next of kin are being notified and an investigation is underway.
