On The Mark

Katarina Roxon didn’t reach the podium at the Paralympics in Paris, but she did emerge as one of Canada’s all-time greats. The Kippens native didn’t leave with gold around her neck but she returned with gold on her finger. Here’s NTV’s Mark Dwyer. 

She rowed for four years in the mid-1970s but died tragically in 1977, at just 19. But Kim Stirling’s passion for the sport lives on, and her presence is felt each and every year at the Royal St. John’s Regatta. Here’s NTV’s Mark Dwyer.
