A by-election is taking place today in the town of Stephenville to fill three councillor vacancies.

There are 12 candidates running in the by-election.

Polls are open from 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Polling booths will be located at the St Stephen’s Parish Centre.

The successful candidates will hold office for the unexpired term of the present council.
