With Ottawa’s backing, Premier Wakeham says time for Churchill Falls deal is now
It’s Day 2 of the special debate in the House of Assembly today, with lead negotiators backing the deal they helped deliver. But nearly half way through the debate, members of the Opposition parties say they still don’t know if they will vote in favour of the new deal.
