Jo-Anne Galarneau appointed Commissioner of the Public Utilities Board
The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador recently announced the appointment of Jo-Anne (Jo) Galarneau as a Commissioner of the Public Utilities Board.
Galarneau brings two decades of executive leadership experience across consulting and international business. For over two years, she has served as the Executive Director and Board Secretary of the Public Utilities Board. Ms. Galarneau’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Dalhousie University, a Masters of Arts degree in Economics from McGill University, and a law degree from University College, London, England. She is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA -US) and holds a professional designation in Regulatory Economics from the London School of Economics.
The transition of Galarneau to the role of Commissioner has resulted in a vacancy at the Board for the position of Executive Director and Board Secretary.
