41st Annual George Street Festival To Kick Off Tonight
In a summer filled with exciting events and performances, one of the province’s longest-running festivals is set to begin. The 41st annual George Street Festival starts Thursday, July 30th and runs until Wednesday, August 5th. The first night brings local performers Karla Pilgrim and Justin Fancy to the stage, opening for emerging country star Josh Ross. Other headliners from this year’s lineup include Alan Doyle, The Beaches, Shanneyganock, Down With Webster, Crush, and “kitchen party” co-headliners The Navigators and Derina Harvey Band. NTV and OZFM are official sponsors of the event, and tickets are on sale now.
