On Sunday afternoon the RNC responded to a report of an armed robbery at a business on Kenmount Road in St. John’s.

The male suspect had been armed with a knife and was wearing a mask.

The suspect was located nearby and was arrested.

He faces charges of disguise with intent, armed robbery, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon and resisting arrest.

There were no injuries.
