Inside Story: Premier responds as Innu Nation warns history dispute could affect Churchill Falls deal
The Grand Chief of the Innu Nation is still not happy with the province’s position on timelines for Innu history in Labrador. Premier Tony Wakeham has agreed to an external audit, but Grand Chief Jodie Ashini posted on Facebook that the Innu Nation would not meet the Dec. 31 deadline for definitive agreements on the new Churchill Falls deal.
