RCMP seeking suspects following gas station theft in Whitbourne
Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects following a gas station theft in Whitbourne.
Placentia-Whitbourne RCMP says a pickup truck stopped at the Ultramar gas station on the Trans-Canada Highway shortly after 12:15 p.m. Friday.
Police say the vehicle was fuelled before leaving the gas station without payment. Witnesses reported that it continued eastbound on the highway.
Investigators are seeking to identify a man and a woman captured by outdoor surveillance cameras. Police are also looking to identify the Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck in which they were travelling.
