Wanted man arrested following brief foot chase with police
It was around 9:45 p.m. Thursday evening (August 27), when members of the RNC Operational Patrol Services spotted a wanted man in the downtown area who had a warrant out for his arrest.
The 43-year-old suspect tried to flee from police on foot, but was unsuccessful in his attempt to get away.
He was held at the St. John’s city lock-up to appear in court this morning.
