RNC arrest male for assault with a weapon
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) arrested a male following an assault in Corner Brook. On Thursday, around 3:30 p.m., police in the Corner Brook region responded to a disturbance at a residence on Crestview Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located a female outside with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers located 38-year-old Neal Peddle inside the residence, where he was arrested and charged with the following:
- Assault
- Assault with a Weapon
- Forcible Confinement
- Being Unlawfully in a Dwelling
- Breach of Probation Order
He was held to appear in court.
