Gander RCMP seeking public’s assistance to locate missing person Melanie Higgins
Gander RCMP is asking for the public’s help locating 33-year-old Melanie Renee Higgins. Police and family are concerned for her well-being and would like to speak with her as soon as possible.
She was last seen in Gander at approximately 5:30 p.m on Wednesday, August 5, wearing a purple sweatshirt and light grey leggings with a pattern on them.
Melanie Higgins is a white woman, approximately, 5’7” (170 cm) tall, with brown, curly hair and blue eyes. Police believe that she is in the Gander area, however, she also has ties to the community of Grand-Falls-Windsor.
Anyone with information about Melanie Higgins movements or her current location is asked to contact your local police or the Gander RCMP detachment at 709-256-6841 immediately.
