RNC Arrest Suspect After Robbery With Edged Weapon on Commonwealth Avenue
Just after 9:30pm on Monday, August 3rd, RNC responded to a robbery on Commonwealth Avenue in Mount Pearl. The male victim reported that he was robbed with an edged weapon and the suspect fled on foot. After searching the area, a man matching the suspect’s description was found on the trail system and arrested. The 37-year old was taken to lock-up, charged with robbery, assault with a weapon, and uttering threats.
