Police investigating boat and trailer theft from Charleston
Clarenville RCMP is investigating the theft of an older model inflatable vessel and trailer that occurred in Charleston sometime between June and early July 2026. Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
On July 8, Clarenville-Bonavista District RCMP received a report that an Dunlop inflatable vessel and a 2002 Remeq boat trailer were stolen from a cabin property on the main road in Charleston. It is believed that the theft occurred sometime between June 1 and July 8, 2026.
The boat is 14-foot long and orange in colour, and did not have a boat motor attached at the time of the theft. The trailer has a licence plate attached — Newfoundland and Labrador licence plate TWM026.
Anyone having information about the person or people responsible for this theft or the current location of the stolen property is asked to contact Clarenville RCMP at 709-466-3211.
