Woman arrested after brief foot chase in St. John’s
A 30-year-old woman is facing court after being arrested following a brief foot pursuit in St. John’s. RNC officers were on routine patrol in the area of Carter’s Hill Place and Livingstone Street when they spotted a woman they recognized and knew was wanted on outstanding arrest warrants.
As officers approached, the woman fled on foot, but after a short chase she was taken into custody without further incident.
She was arrested on the outstanding warrants and remained in custody to appear in court Friday morning.
