Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP arrests pair in relation to dump truck theft
Police in Grand Falls-Windsor arrested a 33-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman on Sunday evening, in relation to a dump truck that was reported stolen earlier that day.
On July 5, police issued an appeal for information related to the theft of a commercial dump truck. With assistance from the public, the vehicle was located and recovered by police, and the RCMP Forensic Identification Section was engaged to assist with the investigation.
On Sunday evening, police arrested two people — a 33-year-old Gander man and a 32-year-old Grand Falls-Windsor woman — in relation to the theft, and some minor damage to the recovered vehicle. Each were charged with theft of a motor vehicle and mischief.
The pair were released from police custody with conditions, and will are expected to appear in provincial court in November 2026.
