Volunteers wanted for CBN cleanup
Conception Bay North is looking for volunteers to come out this weekend, and help clean up the Western Bay Boardwalk following last years devastating wildfire season.
The ‘Western Bay Lighthouse Trails’ is hoping to rebuild 300 feet of damaged boardwalk later this month, but first, they’ll need to clear what’s left of the damage from the wildfires.
Those looking to volunteer are asked to come out this Sunday, and to bring equipment if you can – chainsaws, crowbars, hammers, and drills, or ATV’s with trailers to haul the damaged wood.
