Plumbing issue impacts ER in Grand Falls-Windsor
Concerns continue to be raised in Grand Falls-Windsor where the local hospital experienced a plumbing issue that affected the emergency department.
NL Health Services says the temporary plumbing issue affected the emergency department and staff areas of the central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre.
They say the issue was identified early and impacted areas were secured to allow for cleaning and restoration. Throughout the incident emergency department operations continued with patients being cared for in unaffected areas. There have been no server disruptions or appointment cancellations as a result of the incident.
