Gander RCMP responds to mischief call, man arrested and charged
Gander RCMP arrested a 34-year-old man after responding to a reported act of mischief at a residence Thursday evening,
Shortly after 5:30 p.m. on July 2, Gander RCMP received a report of an act of vandalism caused to a residence on Bennett Drive. A window of the home was broken, and a man was witnessed running away.
Police were provided with a physical and clothing description of the suspect, and he was quickly located nearby. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with mischief causing damage under $5,000.
He was released on strict conditions and will appear in court in July 2026.
The investigation is ongoing.
