Some appointments cancelled, as Janeway Children’s Hospital deals with flooding
The health authority advises the public that the following services at the Janeway Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Centre have been rescheduled to facilitate clean-up following localized flooding caused by a water line break at the facility:
- Outpatient surgical procedures (Thursday and Friday, July 2-3, 2026)
- Outpatient blood collection (Thursday, July 2, 2026)
NL Health Services is in the process of contacting individuals directly to reschedule their appointments.
Inpatient and emergency services are not affected. Clean-up is ongoing, and teams are working diligently to resume affected services as soon as possible. An update will be provided.
