Man arrested after alleged court order breach at downtown St. John’s business
A 65-year-old man was arrested Friday evening after allegedly breaching a court order at a downtown St. John’s business.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says officers responded to a report of a court order breach in progress at a business in the downtown area at about 7:30 p.m.
Police say the man was prohibited from entering the store as part of his release conditions.
Officers located the man walking nearby and arrested him.
The 65-year-old was charged with breach of a release order and resisting arrest. He was held in custody to appear in court.
