City extends on-street parking ban; ends tonight
The City of St. John’s has extended the on-street parking bans until the end of today. In the downtown core, you can’t park between 4 and 6 a.m. on Water Street – from Waldegrave to Prescott, and on Duckworth Street, from New Gower to Cochrane.
Outside the downtown area, the overnight ban runs from 12:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Aso, if there’s bad weather, a weather-related parking ban could be put in place on streets outside downtown as well.
