Conservative Party of Canada launches national advertising campaign

News, Politics

The Conservative Party of Canada today announced it will be launching a national advertising campaign highlighting the rising cost of living under Mark Carney’s Liberal government.

According to the party, one television ad and one radio ad highlight how groceries have become increasingly expensive under the federal Liberals, with food inflation in Canada now worse than in all other G7 countries. The ads emphasize that Canadians were invited by Mark Carney to judge his government based on their experience at the grocery store.

A second ad features clips from Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre’s recent speech to the Economic Club of Canada, outlining his vision for a country that is affordable, safe, and strong at home, with unbreakable leverage abroad.

“Canadians hoped that things would get better under Carney, but the reality is that the cost of feeding your family has gotten much worse,” said Conservative Party Deputy Leader, Melissa Lantsman. “Canadians deserve real leadership with real results, not more of Carney’s illusions. Pierre Poilievre and the Conservative team will continue to fight the cost-of-living crisis, restore economic growth, and make life affordable for Canadians again.”

The campaign will run over the next three months, with more than $1 million invested across television, radio, connected TV, and digital platforms in both official languages, beginning April 8 and continuing through the end of June.
