Serious collision closes TCH for several hours Saturday night
A serious collision on the Trans-Canada-Highway near the Bull Arm site turnoff Saturday night had the highway closed in both directions for several hours. It happened just before 8 o’clock between Arnold’s Cove and Come-by-Chance.
Clarenville RCMP and first responders were called to the scene. While the highway remained closed, at around 8:40 p.m., motorists were diverted along a detour through refinery road and main road in Sunnyside and Come-by-Chance. The highway was reopened at 6:30 Sunday morning.
Police have not released any further information the incident and it’s not known if anyone was injured.
