Collision near Bull Arm site turnoff closes TCH Saturday night
A serious collision on the Trans-Canada Highway near the Bull Arm site turnoff Saturday night had the highway closed in both directions for several hours.
It happened just before 8 o’clock between Arnold’s Cove and Come-By-Chance.
Clarenville RCMP and first responders were at the scene.
While the highway remained closed, at around 8:40 p.m., motorists were diverted along a detour through Refinery Road and Main Road in Sunnyside and Come-By-Chance.
The highway was reopened at 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
Police have not released any further information about the incident and haven’t said if anyone was injured.
