Police arrest two people following alleged theft at St. John’s business
Thursday evening, at about 6:45 p.m., police responded to a business in the east end of St. John’s regarding a report of a theft in progress. Upon arrival, officers located a 35-year-old female and a 46-year-old male outside the business. Following an investigation, the female was arrested and charged with Theft Under $5000 and Breach of Release Order. The male was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Both were held to appear in provincial court in the morning.
