Natuashish RCMP charge man with assault and weapons offences, imitation firearm seized
Natuashish RCMP arrested 19-year-old Glenn Katshinak on multiple charges after police responded to a disturbance outside a Natuashish home on March 31.
Just after 3:10 p.m. yesterday afternoon, police responded to reports of a disturbance and assault at a home on Katshinak Street. Officers attended and arrested Glenn Katshinak for assault. During the arrest an imitation firearm (BB gun) was seized by police.
Katshinak was held in police custody overnight. He is expected to appear in court today to answer to Criminal Code charges of:
- Assault,
- Pointing a firearm, and
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The investigation is ongoing.
