Another major fuel price hike for motorists
The price of gas saw another major swing – after increasing a whopping 8 cents today. Diesel however has seen the highest spike – that fuel increased by 14 cents on the island and is up 15 and a half cents in Labrador West.
Consumers will pay more for home heating fuels as well. Furnace oil costs an extra 12 cents per litre. Stove oil in Lab West is up by about 13 and a half cents. The PUB says to expect price adjustments consistently throughout the week as oil markets fluctuate due to the war in the middle east.
