News

In another surprise price adjustment, due to recent commodity market developments, the Public Utilities Board has intervened to change prices outside its regular pricing schedule for diesel motor fuel, furnace oil and stove oil heating fuels in all areas of the province except Zones 10, 11, 11a, 11c, 12 and 14. There has been no change to the price of gasoline.

Diesel increased on the island by up to 10.5 cents per litre. Diesel in parts of Labrador increased by 9.7 cents per litre. Furnace oil heating fuel increased by 9.06 cents on the island, and stove oil heating fuel increased by 8.46 cents per litre in parts of Labrador.

This comes just a day after the Public Utilities Board regularly scheduled price adjustment, and numerous changes over the last week.

The next regularly scheduled price adjustment is slated for Friday, April 3.
