Price of Gas Jumps by Almost 8 Cents, Diesel Rises by Even More
Due to “recent commodity market developments,” the Public Utilities Board has made an unplanned update to the maximum fuel prices. The price of gasoline is up this morning by 7.9 cents a litre, while diesel is up by 12.2 cents. In parts of Labrador, diesel is up by 12.5 cents and stove oil increases by 10.9 cents per litre. Furnace oil rises by 10.56 cents per litre, while there is no change to the price of propane. The next scheduled price adjustment is Friday morning, but supplementary price changes are possible.
