Clarenville RCMP tickets unregistered driver
A 23-year-old man was ticketed by Clarenville RCMP on Tuesday morning after his car broke down on the road and assisting officers discovered it was not properly registered.
Just before 11:30 a.m. on March 17, police on patrol stopped to assist a driver after his vehicle experienced a mechanical failure on Manitoba Drive. The driver, a 23-year-old man, did have a valid driver’s licence but was unable to produce a physical card for police. Officers also learned that the vehicle was not properly registered with the Motor Registration Department.
The man was issued a summary offence ticket under the Highway Traffic Act for operating an unregistered vehicle.
