Happy Valley-Goose Bay mayor welcomes ‘historic’ base upgrades
The mayor of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is calling it a historic announcement for the region. Massive upgrades will be coming to 5 Wing Goose Bay.
It comes as Prime Minister Mark Carney has committed to more than $35 billion in spending, to strengthen Canada’s defence, and infrastructure in the north. NTV’s Beth Penney has more in this report.
