Gas prices jump Friday morning
The price of gas spiked in the latest adjustment from the Public Utilities Board, up by 6.7 cents a litre. Diesel on the island has increased by 6.4 cents, while other fuels saw smaller changes. Gas prices have been on the rise across Canada, linked to the conflict in Iran. The next scheduled price adjustment will be Friday, March 13th.
