Subject of nation-wide arrest warrant apprehended by police
27-year-old Nathan Hancott, the subject of a Canada-wide arrest warrant, was arrested this afternoon. He was unlawfully at large since early February.
RCMP requested the public’s assistance in locating Hancott on February 6, 2026. Police believed Hancott, who is from Grand Falls-Windsor, was hiding out in the province.
Police asked that anyone with information on the location of Hancott to contact the Bonavista RCMP detachment, as he was possibly in the Clarenville-Bonavista area.
Nathan Hancott was taken into custody today.
