NAPE President to speak as negotiating teams prepare for public sector bargaining

NAPE Negotiating Teams from across Newfoundland and Labrador have started their meetings in preparation for the upcoming round of Public Sector Bargaining. These meetings are a follow the successful elections held during the Component Conventions that happened in October of 2025.

Teams will be finalizing proposals, preparing strategies, and ensuring teams are ready to start negotiations. The outcomes of these meetings will help guide NAPE’s work in the months ahead.

“These meetings demonstrate that our Union is organized, prepared, united, and ready,” said NAPE President Jerry Earle. “Our Negotiating Teams finalizing their proposals and setting priorities for what will be a crucial round of public sector bargaining. The strength of our position at the table depends heavily on the work that these dedicated members are doing during these meetings”.
